Join us for an exciting and enriching experience in our Permaculture Kids Program, where we embrace the three core ethics of permaculture: people care, earth care, and fair share. Each week of our term program invites children to explore permaculture principles through hands-on activities and interest-based creative play.
Give your child the gift of outdoor play, just like we enjoyed as kids, surrounded by fresh air and nature all day long! Our program not only encourages physical activity but also fosters social connections with fun facilitators and new friends.
What Your Child Will Experience:
- Imagination & Creativity: Opportunities to develop their imagination through diverse activities.
- Confidence & Resilience: Grow in confidence, problem-solving, and resilience as they tackle new challenges.
- Choice & Adventure: Kids design their day by choosing from our HUGE menu of adventures and activities.
Daily Activities Include:
- Forest Exploration: Use a range of equipment, such as tarps and ropes, to build huts in the forest.
- Woodworking Projects: Work on construction projects in our woodworking cabin.
- Playground Fun: Enjoy games and have fun on the playground with friends.
- Nature Discovery: Explore the forest and go bug hunting.
- Sports & Team Games: Join in with sports and team games to promote teamwork and cooperation.
- Tool Skills: Learn to use tools and build fires safely.
- Campfire Cooking: Cook over the campfire, experiencing the joy of outdoor cooking.
- Animal Interaction: Feed and play with our friendly farm animals.
