Terra Tribe Puggles
Week 1 - 15/7
We start off the day talking about the farm and what we are all about. Then we will heading to the forest school where the children will be planting a variety of edible plants and flowers with seeds and seedlings in their own garden bed. The children will work together to make a scarecrow for their garden. The children will be decorating their own pots and planting their own seeds to take home. Child led play in forest school with the opportunity to imagine, build and create.
Week 2-
Topic - Goats, we will head to the goat area, feed, brush, play with the goats. We will have a chat to why we have the goats and what they help out on the farm with, we will head into the food forest to gather forage for the goats before heading down to forest school. We will have nature craft available along with Child led play in forest school with the opportunity to imagine, build and create.
Week 3 -
Topic - cows
Let’s go milk, we will be prepping cow feed and heading down to learn to milk the cows, we will then head back up to forest school for open ended child led play
Week 4 -
Topic - sheep Lambert our hand raised lamb will be down in forest school to meet the children, we will feed, brush and give her treats. We will have craft materials to make your own lamb to take home. Also Child led play in forest school with the opportunity to imagine, build and create.
Week 5-
Worms - build a worm farm as a group in our worm bath area, build the layers and add the worms, chat about composting and why worms are important . Also Child led play in forest school with the opportunity to imagine, build and create.
Week 6 -
Topic - bees
A talk about bee, honey, and honeycomb, we will be making seed bombs to spread throughout forest school to plant more flowers for the bees. Also Child led play in forest school with the opportunity to imagine, build and create.
Week 7 -
Topic - poultry
Chickens , ducks and baby chickens. Our meat chickens would have arrived and will be in their brooders, opportunities to care for our little and big chickens, feeding , cuddling and moving.

Week 8 - celebration by now our garden planted in week one should be producing so we will try and make a delicious meal for us to share.
