Get ready for a 3-day outdoor adventure like no other! Based on our nature-rich forest school and permaculture farm on the Fraser Coast, this hands-on holiday camp is perfect for curious, creative, and adventurous kids. Each day explores a different theme — from bushcraft to building — giving children the chance to develop real-life skills while having fun in nature.
Day 1: Woodwork Wonders
We kick things off with a full day of creativity and construction. Kids will use real tools and work alongside skilled instructors to craft their very own stools, tool caddies, or rustic baskets. Morning tea features freshly baked scones with jam, and for lunch, we’ll cook potatoes over the fire. The day ends around the campfire with gooey s’mores, storytelling, and proud smiles over their creations.
Day 2: Bush Survival Skills
Today, it’s time to explore the wild! Campers will dive into fire building, spear making, and tarp shelter construction, learning bush survival skills in a supportive and adventurous environment. They’ll cook pancakes for morning tea, help prepare a camp oven lunch, and wrap up with s’mores and survival stories. It’s a confidence-building day of practical, empowering knowledge.
Day 3: Fort Building Adventure
The final day brings teamwork and imagination to life with a fort-building challenge! Using natural materials, kids will work together to design and construct their own fort hideaways, complete with decorations and creative flair. Morning tea includes Anzac biscuits, and we’ll share a final camp oven lunch around the fire. This celebratory last day is all about bonding, bush play, and building unforgettable memories.
